Devotional:
Sometimes, you find yourself in a place you thought you'd never be again. The place that's full of both darkness and despair. As you reach out for the spiritual tools (prayer, fasting, worshiping etc) that have helped you before, it seems like they are so far from your reach. What once was enough, has now completely stagnated you, and you're on the brink of falling.
There's a cry, that comes from deep within the bowels of every believer. A groan so deep that only God's ears are attuned to hear. To the unsuspecting believer, it seems like just another scrabble with the Kingdom of Darkness. However, there's something brewing that's much deeper than meets the eye. It's a soul, that's in desperate need of God's presence.
It is in these moments that believers revert back to their animalistic nature. Beginning to make decisions solely on the pleasures and desires of their flesh. All because, they can't properly translate the cry that comes from deep within. The beauty though, is they don't have to. The simple solution, is to find the presence of God and stay there.
What the Lord fills up, indeed lacks nothing...
