There’s more required

Devotional:

The Prophetic number "40", deals greatly with a trial period of judgment, testing and maturation. Upon completion of a trial, a new you emerges. As lovely as this can be, you must pay careful attention to how you navigate this new level.

Because of this new you, there needs to be new maintenance regulations. You wouldn’t maintain a Toyota in the same way you would a Mercedes right? Of course not! There are distinct parts and solutions needed to maintain the integrity of each vehicle. Upon exiting your trial period, the same goes for you. You will have to follow new instructions.

It's truly "new levels and new devils." What you could once do on a previous level, won't work here. You will find yourself frustrated trying to do old things while being in a "new wineskin." Remember, scripture tells us that you can't mix the old and the new. You will cause yourself more damage than good.

So how can you prevent bursting the wineskin? Do new things on this new level. How do you determine what those new things are? Simply seek the Lord concerning the new maintenance plan He has for you. It will be one that will help you maintain yourself in this new season, on this new level.

“No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.””
