  • All eyes on you...

Devotional: How does one stay afloat, when the circumstances of life are greater than the density of water? When Jehoshaphat had a vast army rise against him, he found himself in this exact position. Where he could have sunk underneath the pressure, he sought a different solution. Instead of leaning on his own strength, he leaned on his community. They all came together to fast, pray and seek the Lord. Though he did not see a way out, he trusted that God would create one. In his heart, he set his eyes on Him. By setting his eyes on God, He trusted that God’s sight would go beyond what he could see. And from that posture of complete surrender, God assured him the victory. When you find yourself weighed down by the woes of life, set your eyes on God… Scripture(s) Meditation: “Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” 2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV ”Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child [resting] with his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me [composed and freed from discontent].“ Psalms 131:1-2 AMP Song(s) Meditation: Our eyes are on you by Tasha Cobbs Leonard To listen to today's song meditation, click here. • The Precious Word

Devotional: When God speaks, His Word is true. Sometimes, we can get so used to hearing the Word, we forget how weighty and precious it is. Almost equilibrating the voice of the Lord to one of our friends. Not realizing that His Words cause movement and theirs can cause stagnancy. If you don’t receive The Word of the Lord in your heart, you reject it. And those who reject the Lord’s Word, are indeed rejected by Him. (1 Samuel 15:23) On a spiritual level, it shows God that your heart is full of pride. Though you may not intend this, that is how it’s perceived. Because how could you resist God’s perfect plan for your life? For your situation? It’s time we see God’s Word in a new way. His Word is precious. His Word moves mountains. His Word calms a troubled and weary soul. And more importantly, His Word is eternal. Scripture(s) Meditation: ”Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.“ Psalms 119:89 NIV ”The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.“ 1 Samuel 3:1 NIV ”For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.”“ 1 Samuel 15:23 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Your Word by John Thurlow To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What are Words that God personally gave you, that you rejected? How will you shift the posture of your heart, from rejection to reception? • All Things

Devotional: When God had me quit my job, it didn’t make sense. When the pandemic hit a month later, my bank account made no sense. When God told me to begin giving things away, that definitely didn’t make no sense. And when He said I’m calling you to Houston?! I surely thought my mind was broken. These things may be easy to mention individually, but they were compounded moments of GREAT sacrifices. Within a six month period, my life seemingly went from bittersweet to sour. At least so I thought. You see, when you’re in a difficult situation, it doesn’t feel good. And it really gets uncomfortable when the difficulties hit you back to back. But when God’s expiration date comes, what once made no sense, makes complete sense. You begin to see how God’s goodness was working behind the scenes. Right now, you may have a lot of uncomfortable moments that puzzle you. But know, your time of expiration is coming soon. May you soon testify, that God caused ALL things to work together for your good… Prayer for Re-Alignment: Dear Lord my Heavenly Father, forgive me for questioning your ways. Cleanse me O Lord and make me right in your eyes. Remove the spiritual cataracts from my eyes that cause me to see incorrectly. Give me new sight and understanding to appreciate the great work you are doing in me. May every failure, every disappointment and every frustration work together for my good. May you purpose me further to accomplish your works in the Earth. God I love you, and I thank you for working all things together, for me. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen 💜 Scripture(s) Meditation: ”And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.“ Romans 8:28 AMP Song(s) Meditation: God is good by Jonathan McReynolds To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. If you had to list them, what were some MAJOR unexpected sacrifices God had you make? How did you see them at first? How do you see them now? • A Heart like Caleb

Devotional: In Numbers 13, we see the heart of Caleb revealed. Despite the opposition from the ten evil spies, he maintained his faithful position towards God. In essence, you could see that he had an unwavering loyalty to God. This steadfastness, produced great strength within him but also set him up to receive a bountiful harvest. What was it about Caleb that made his heart posture so distinct? When you study names in the Bible, you begin to learn the spiritual implications of them. A physical name, reveals the destiny on the spiritual plane. Caleb’s name meant, dog. In other words, it signified the loyal spirit that dog’s carry. And as we observe in Numbers 13, this was the very spirit that was within him. Quite often, we speak of having a heart like David. But even David indirectly mentioned the importance of having a heart like Caleb. When a man is undivided in his heart, he is stable in all his ways. He can be trusted and more importantly used greatly as a vessel in God’s Kingdom. So may we all desire to have a heart like Caleb... Scripture(s) Meditation: “Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” James 1:8 NIV ”Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”“ Numbers 13:30 NKJV ”Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.“ Psalms 86:11 NIV Song(s) Meditation: You have my yes by MaryAnne J. • El Roi (The God who sees)

Devotional: Sometimes, life has its way of making you feel unseen. Though you fast and pray, it feels like God has turned His ear away from you. Instead of circumstances getting better, they become harder to withstand. In this place, how does one find the strength to press on? After enduring harsh treatment consistently at the hands of Sarai, Hagar had enough. She ran away into the wilderness, where she encountered the Angel of the Lord. By the release of the Word, God assured her that He saw her tears. And because of this, He promised to increase her descendants beyond that which she could count. When she received an answer from The Lord, that was the moment she felt seen. Though God’s promise hadn’t manifested in her hands just yet, she allowed the Word to strengthen her. For some of you, this is how you find the strength to press on. You must find your answer in God’s Word and trust what it promises you. So though life makes you feel unseen, trust the revealed nature of God. He is El Roi. The God who sees… Scripture(s) Meditation: “My soul dissolves because of grief; Renew and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word.” Psalm 119:28 AMP “So she called the name of the Lord Who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, Have I [not] even here [in the wilderness] looked upon Him Who sees me [and lived]? Or have I here also seen [the future purposes or designs of] Him Who sees me?” Genesis 16:13 AMPC Song(s) Meditation: The God who sees me by RIGSI To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What are the circumstances of life that has made you feel unseen? How has God given your situation an answer through His Word? Are you allowing those answers to bring you the spiritual strength you need to continue on? Sun'Ray💕

  • The Journey (Passing Through)

Devotional: Very often we mention “the journey,” while simultaneously remaining in a place of stagnancy. The purpose of a journey is that it leads you somewhere, and requires movement. Even if the movement isn’t physical, then it must show up in some other area of our lives. Rather that be, mentally, spiritually or even emotionally. Simply put, our journey moves us constantly from one version of ourselves to the next. Ever evolving, ever changing. We must grow to believe in the temporary nature of a journey. So many of us have taken residence in temporary tents that could never withstand permanent conditions. And in doing so, face more opposition and resistance than we would, had we just continued “the journey.” Because at least on “the journey,” nothing lasts forever. Rather you think of this physically, or from a mental perspective, you empower yourself to just pass through. It’s time to remind yourself that you’re on “the journey,” and that it requires your movement. Speak to the current situations in your life that have stalled you, and let them know you gotta go. Tell poverty, I’m only passing through. Tell anxiety, I’m only passing through. Tell whatever Goliath stands in your path, I’m only passing through. Because you now realize, the greatest version of you, lies in your desire to just continue moving forward on “the journey”… Scripture(s) Meditation: “And He was passing through one city and village after another, teaching, and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem.” Luke 13:22 NASB “She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” Proverbs 31:27 NIV Song(s) Meditation: The Journey by H.E.R. Have you found yourself struggling with stagnation and idleness? Why is that so? How will “the journey” mentality, help you move past the stagnation, even if that means no physical moves? Sun'Ray💕

  • It's Simple

Devotional: Quite naturally, us humans are pre-disposed to figuring things out on our own. We’ve grown comfortable with living life by “taking chances.” We have even awarded people for their ability to move solo. But what about when there are greater implications beyond just yourself? Is it worth taking that same risk? When we study the life of David, we see that he was a communicator. Instead of operating in error on the basis of his own assumptions, he consulted the Lord about his every move. What was the result? Victory after victory. Why then do we struggle to inquire of the Lord in our own lives? What was it about David that made him rely on God the way in which he did? David understood what many of us don’t. That though he was an individual, as a child of God, his mindset had to reach beyond himself. Therefore, when he sought the Lord, it wasn’t for his own pride or ego. He realized that his seek would help further establish God’s purposes on Earth for HIS people. So, move yourself out of the equation and simply, inquire of the Lord. Remember, it's bigger than you! Scripture(s) Meditation: ”So David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?” The Lord answered him, “Go, for I will surely deliver the Philistines into your hands.”“ 2 Samuel 5:19 NIV ”You ask [God for something] and do not receive it, because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so that [when you get what you want] you may spend it on your [hedonistic] desires.“ James 4:3 AMP Song(s) Meditation: I'll do what you want me to do by The Georgia Mass Choir To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Would you say you’re more focused on seeking God for yourself or for His Kingdom? If for yourself, how could you grow to expand your mindset to seeking the Kingdom agenda? If for His Kingdom, how has adopting a Kingdom mindset shifted your relationship with Him? Sun'Ray💕

  • My Situation

Devotional: When your heart has been broken into tiny pieces, it’s easy for the circumstances of life to be seen from a tainted perspective. You see, the world tells us that we see through our eyes. But through scripture, we learn that we see the world through our hearts. There are some of you going through difficult situations right now, and you’re seeing God as the villain. Instead of praising Him, you see Him as the reason you have nothing to praise about. Instead of “God I thank you” your constant internal dialogue is full of, “God, how could you?” Through the lens of a broken heart, it’s no wonder your perspective is flawed. I too, struggled with this. When situations came, I saw God as the cause and not the solution. Because of this, I found myself angry, frustrated and pulling further away from His presence. Until He began to heal my heart. As He healed my heart, He healed my perspective. Beloved, your situation doesn’t change who God is, it comes to make you seek Him more. So may you find yourself in God’s arms and allow Him to heal the broken spaces and in turn renew your perspective. Don’t shut God out, invite Him in… Scripture(s) Meditation: ”I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,“ Ephesians 1:18 NIV ”Out of my distress I called on the Lord; The Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can [mere] man do to me? The Lord is on my side, He is among those who help me; Therefore I will look [in triumph] on those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in princes.“ Psalms 118:5-9 AMP Song(s) Meditation: Situation by Jonathan McReynolds To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Be honest, when you’re going through a difficult situation, do you shut God out or let Him in? When you do this, how is your spiritual life altered? Do you experience growth or decay? What vices or bad habits return? What will you do to heal your perspective in difficult situations? Sun'Ray💕

  • Still Gon' Trust

Devotional: When I think of the word trust, I think of a solid foundation. One that isn’t easily moved or shaken. Instead, no matter what comes up against it, it remains. And quite honestly, this is how we should view our selves. One mighty oak of trust, that’s solidly rooted in Him. But too often when the circumstances of life kick in, do we abandon our foundation. In place of it, we decide to drown in the waves of the storm. Completely ignoring that He can make the storm cease, and cause our souls to rest at ease. I think we get so caught up with the way we want things to work, that we forget who’s in control. Not realizing abandoning our trust in Him, causes us to experience a satanic free fall. If circumstances completely uproot our trust in Him, it’s worth exploring whether we truly trust Him anyways. Some of you might be going through difficult circumstances, allow me to challenge you. Instead of uprooting yourself, take the time now to learn to trust Him. Don’t wait for the house, the car or the new job. Start now, at what you deem your lowest. Trust me, it will only strengthen you! Scripture(s) Meditation: ““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Still Gon' Trust by Joshua Rogers To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Let’s explore this one question, do you trust God? I mean, really, really, trust Him? Sun'Ray💕

  • One big hug

Devotional: As a kid, I looked forward to those moments when my father returned home from work. I’d wrap my entire being around his legs and tell him how much I missed him. After he struggled to walk, he’d pick me up, smother me with kisses and give me “one big hug.” Though those days are long past, I’m so grateful that I found something so much better. For a long while, I viewed praising God as a duty and not an honor. Not seeing praise as an extension of intimacy, truly hindered my relationship with Him. Where He wanted to inhabit my praises, my limitations only restricted His arrival. But once my perspective shifted, so did my experience. What began as a religious act, ended as an expression of love. Such an expression, that now causes a warm comforting presence to show up. One that reminds me of my father’s hugs, but is so much better. Truthfully, the stillness and comfort found in God’s warm embrace, is unlike what any human could ever give. So on days when you need that “one big hug,” create an atmosphere of praise and adoration. And watch God show up... Scripture(s) Meditation: “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3 KJV Song(s) Meditation: A Hug from God by Stevie Valentine To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Do you view praise and adoration as a religious act, or a form of intimacy? If as a form of intimacy, has it always been this way for you? When you praise, do you experience the all encompassing love of God? What can you do, to make this presence permanent? Sun'Ray💕

  • Open the door

Devotional: Do you hear the gentle knocking at the door of your heart? Do you feel the groan arising from deep within your spirit, desiring more? Has things seemed stagnant and dull for you lately? Like there’s something you need that you can’t quite put into words? Many of you have been sensing this longing for a while. And specifically, God is addressing the longing in the heart of His daughters. There’s been a cry arising from deep within that you can’t contain. It’s almost as if time stands still, while you try to gain an understanding of what’s happening. The Lord is shifting many assignments this season, and it requires a new level of intimacy with Him. Where’s He’s taking you next, you need more of Him and less of everything else. He wants your heart to be so laser-focused on Him, that your life shall breathe alignment and harmony with His perfect will. It’s time you arise and open the door. Scripture(s) Meditation: “I slept but my heart was awake. Listen! My beloved is knocking: “Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my flawless one. My head is drenched with dew, my hair with the dampness of the night.”” Songs of Solomon 5:1 NIV “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Revelation 3:20 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Jesus is Knocking by The Williams Brothers To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What keeps you from getting up and answering the door to experience deeper intimacy with God? What limitations have you placed on your relationship with Him? How does where you are currently in your relationship, relate to where you want to be? How will you navigate your daily life, to arrive to that place? Sun'Ray💕

  • The Furnace of Affliction

Devotional: Going down the long and windy tunnel of God’s fiery furnace, can be a daunting task. Just when it appears to be over, you turn the corner and encounter a greater degree of flame. At times, it can be hard to continue forward, when you carry the memory of the entire process. But you must know, there’s greater after this. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:8, ”blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Most times, I think we take this scripture quite literally and instantly picture life after death. But if you look deeper here, Jesus gave us a key to see God, while still alive. When we dare to enter the furnace of affliction, we allow our hearts to be purified. Purified in such a way, that our hearts now have eyes to see God. Seeing God, is the difference between walking through life aimlessly and walking through it purposefully. It’s the difference between being empty and carrying fullness. It’s the difference between making an impact and constantly causing impact collisions. You see, though the furnace of affliction may uncomfortably stretch you, it gives you a greater dimension of sight. A dimension that adds immense value to your life and the life of those around you. Scripture(s) Meditation: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8 NIV “See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.” Isaiah 48:10 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Refiner by Maverick City feat Chandler Moore & Steffany Gretzinger To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. By far, what has been the hardest part of God’s furnace of affliction? What are some ways that difficulty has helped you to see more of God? How does this fresh revelation, change your perspective on being in the furnace? Sun'Ray💕
